We’re excited to announce the launch of a new app from Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum, powered by Cuseum! As you wander through the Museum, which was architecturally inspired by the Temple of Amon at Karnak, the mobile app will guide you to highlights of the collection, as well as providing in-depth information on the extensive variety of artifacts.
The Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum can trace its roots back to a single artifact, a Sekhmet statue which stood on the desk of H. Spencer Lewis, also the founder of the Rosicrucian Order. The Egypt Exploration Society added artifacts from their trips to the Order’s collection, which eventually became a public collection, and finally, today, “the largest collection of authentic ancient Egyptian artifacts on display in Western North America.”
In addition to its colorful history and unique status in the world, the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum has a strong commitment to education and offers a variety of activities for students and community members, including a Junior Archaeologist Program and Planetarium Shows!
